The battle can be won

(For Jana and Dr. Lopez)

“In fearful day, in raging night, With strong hearts full, our souls ignite, When all seems lost in the War of Light, Look to the stars– For hope burns bright!”
(Blue Lantern Oath)

I was too young, back then, to remember
But now, it’s something I cannot forget;
That the battle can be won through prayer
Though in life, by troubles, we are beset.

By virtue of remaining true and strong
All adversity shall pass us over.
Though times are trying and days are too long,
In the family, we can find shelter.

In the heavens and the home lies hope;
Hope that burns in our hearts eternally.
Through our faith and family, we can cope
And with love, conquer harsh reality.

Despair not! For the battle can be won
Dawn lies ahead! In pray’r, await the sun.

  1. It is in those tough times that we get to decide what cloak of character to wear! And by staying strong, and with the support of our loved ones, there is always a chance of a better tomorrow!

    • Actually, my name is Joscar. There was a name mix up in my comment in Jamie’s site. I really appreciate the comments. 🙂
